Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy describes how Azimyx ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects information in connection with the Azimyx operational dashboard platform (the "Service"). The Service is a private business-to-business application provided to authorized users of customer organizations under contract with Azimyx.
Azimyx does not sell personal data. We do not use customer data for advertising, marketing, or training machine learning models. Customer data is used solely to operate the Service for the customer.
1. Information We Process
1.1 Account information
When you access the Service, we collect basic account information such as your name, business email address, organizational affiliation, and authentication identifiers.
1.2 Business and financial data
The Service accesses and displays business operational data on behalf of the customer organization, including:
- Field service operations data (jobs, estimates, invoices, customers, appointments) accessed via ServiceTitan API under authorization granted by the customer;
- Accounting and financial data (profit and loss, balance sheet, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash position) accessed via QuickBooks Online API under authorization granted by the customer;
- Operational metrics, leadership-team meeting notes, and other business data entered directly into the Service by authorized users.
1.3 Usage data
We collect technical information about how the Service is used, including IP address, browser type, pages viewed, and timestamps, for security monitoring and service improvement.
2. How We Use Information
We use the information we process solely to:
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Service for the customer organization;
- Authenticate users and prevent unauthorized access;
- Respond to support requests;
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. QuickBooks Online Data
When a customer organization authorizes the Service to access its QuickBooks Online company, Azimyx receives an OAuth 2.0 access token and refresh token issued by Intuit. We use these tokens solely to retrieve financial reports and accounting records on behalf of the authorizing organization, and we store them using industry-standard encryption.
QuickBooks data retrieved through the Service is used only to display dashboards to authorized users of the originating customer organization. It is not shared with any third party, used for any other purpose, or retained beyond the duration of the customer relationship.
Customers may revoke Azimyx's access to QuickBooks Online at any time through the Intuit App Center settings, which will immediately terminate Azimyx's ability to retrieve their QuickBooks data.
4. ServiceTitan Data
Service-platform data accessed through ServiceTitan APIs is handled equivalently to QuickBooks data — used only to operate the Service for the authorizing customer, never shared externally, and revocable at any time.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share customer data with third parties for marketing or advertising. We may share data only in these limited circumstances:
- Sub-processors: We use trusted infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting and database services) to operate the Service. These sub-processors are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations.
- Legal requirements: If required by law, subpoena, or court order, with notice to the customer organization where legally permissible.
- Customer instruction: When directed by the customer organization.
6. Data Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect data, including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest where applicable, access controls, and authentication. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Data Retention
We retain customer data for the duration of the customer relationship and as needed to comply with legal obligations. Upon termination of the customer relationship, we will delete or return customer data within a reasonable period, except where retention is required by law.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. Requests should be directed first to your organization's administrator, or to Azimyx at the contact below.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
10. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States. By accessing the Service from outside the United States, you consent to transfer of data to the United States.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to customer organizations.
